The "FINNED" heating elements, always fall into the large category of heating elements defined as "armoured", but are distinguished in that they have a particular construction structure recognisable by the metal fins applied around the internal cylindrical heating element, which are capable of amplifying and aiding the dissipation of the heat produced. Manufactured in different lengths, diameters and shapes (twisted, U-shaped, M-shaped, etc.), they are applied in various fields relating to the heating of substances in a gaseous state: painting ovens, drying ovens, steam sterilisers, air conveyors for space heating, etc.

Often in their applications, the use of cooling fans is recommended, as the latter are able to create heat exchange and air recirculation, guaranteeing and increasing the efficiency of the heating elements themselves.
