The term
"resistance
NOZZLE BAND RESISTANCE"
refers to the type of resistance used to heat
the nozzle (precisely) present in injection moulding machines
also known as extrusion moulding machines, for plastics. They have a high
heat exchange capacity due to their construction system,
based on a metal foil subjected to very high pressure
that protects the heating part, which is designed to
adhere optimally to the nozzle to which the
resistance is applied.
This type of heating element is available in
various diameters, heights and power ratings, adapting to various
types of nozzles and processes.The cable outlet, with different
types of inclination, radial or axial in various degrees of
angle, enclosed in a sort of cap welded to the heating element body
and crimped directly onto the cable (usually covered
and protected by a metal sleeve), guarantees total
impermeability to any plastic substances that may be
present.
